Show Update from Cleve...
Well, we are half way through another year, busy, busy with clinics and showing horses. The clinics have taken me from New York to Oregon to Houston and many places in between. Each year I am amazed at how good people are getting at working with their own horses. That says a lot for the breed, the teachers and the horse owners for putting forth the effort to educate themselves and grow with an open mind.
In the show world, we have Bill Cosentino qualified on Lady Born to be Hot, Jeff Sargent qualified on Ultimate Blaze, Linda Sargent qualified on Chip Blue Investment and Ken Banks qualified on Ima Shady Amigo. I have qualified Ima Shady Amigo along with Krysmun and Gold for the Junior Western Pleasure. I also have Amigos Big Leaguer for the 2 year old Reichart Futurity, who is owned by Ken Banks, and Gotta Good Machine for the Maiden 3 and over class, he is owned by Jeff and Linda Sargent.
Congratulations to Chip and Jenny Crane on their purchase of LL Cool Bay, a 2 year old stallion by Good Machine out of the great mare Zippo Erin. I will be showing LL Cool Bay at the Congress in the 2 year old Masters class.
Our up coming shows will be Rapid City, South Dakota, Reichart Futurity in Tulsa, Oklahoma, NSBA World Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Select World in Amarillo, Texas and the Scottsdale Classic in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Our upcoming clinics are July 26-29 here at Cleve Wells Quarter Horses in Burleson, Texas, and Its Almost Heaven Riding Stables Highlands TX
Dates: Sept 22nd and 23rd
Keep in touch and come by and say “hello” at the clinics or show.
Sincerely –
